Teaching

Piano Lessons
I have three semesters of piano experience from college, which has brought me to an intermediate level. I regularly incorporate piano into my casual music-making and am currently working on solo repertoire. Additionally, I completed Music Theory and Aural Skills 1 & 2, which are crucial for teaching, learning, and fully understanding the instrument. I am also enrolled in advanced piano classes while pursuing my Master's in Music.
Voice Lessons
I hold a BA in Music from Gordon College, where I studied classical voice under the mentorship of Ms. Katherine Whyte, and Dr. Holly Zagaria. Throughout my studies, I gained an in-depth understanding of classical vocal technique, opera, art song repertoire, as well as musical theater technique .I believe in the importance of building a strong technical foundation through breathing, tension release, and using your body as your support. I believe in creating a fun and structured environment where each student can develop their voice effectively and enjoy the process. I want my students to leave feeling confident, knowing they took risks, and excited to practice and make progress.
Music tutoring
I am an educated musician with a BA degree in Music from Gordon College. With 6 years of experience as a performer and student, I can tutor music theory, aural skills, music history, or vocal diction. I am capable of working with students studying undergrad level or below. My approach focuses on making complex concepts accessible and engaging, modifying each lesson to meet individual goals. I’m committed to my continued learning, and am currently obtaining a Master's degree in Music Therapy. Whether you're a beginner or an active student, I’m dedicated to helping you further your understanding and enjoy the process along the way!
